- Information you give us when you request a free resource, guide or tool (typically your name and email)
- Any information you include in enquiry or contact forms
When you submit a form (including to request a resource), we also record limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page you came from, to help prevent spam and abuse.
B) Information collected automatically (via PostHog)
If you consent to analytics cookies, we use PostHog (EU-hosted) to collect usage data such as:
- pages visited and interactions
- approximate location (derived from IP address)
- device and browser information
- online identifiers such as cookie IDs
3. How we use your personal data
We use personal data to:
- respond to enquiries and communicate with you
- send you the resource, guide or tool you requested, and a small number of related follow-up emails about our services that you can opt out of at any time
- send occasional updates when we publish a new free resource
- operate, maintain, and improve the Website
- understand how the Website is used (analytics), where you have provided consent
4. Lawful bases for processing (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)
We rely on the following lawful bases:
- Legitimate interests: to respond to inbound enquiries, operate the Website, and send business-to-business marketing about our own related services to people who have engaged with us (for example, by downloading a resource). You can object or unsubscribe at any time, and we balance this against your rights.
- Soft opt-in (PECR): where you have asked us for a resource or tool, we may email you about similar services, always with a one-click unsubscribe.
- Consent: for analytics cookies (PostHog) and any marketing cookies (e.g. visitor identification). You can withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
5. Sharing your data (Processors)
We use trusted service providers to run the Website:
- Vercel: website hosting, infrastructure analytics (Speed Insights, Web Analytics, aggregated, no personal identifiers)
- PostHog (EU cloud): product analytics, where you have consented to analytics cookies
- Supabase: form submissions and lead capture storage (UK/EU data residency)
- Cal.com: meeting scheduling (booking links on contact pages)
- Resend: sending emails such as resource delivery and follow-up messages
We do not sell personal data.
6. International data transfers
Some of our service providers (for example, Vercel and Resend) may process data in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the UK/European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. Our database (Supabase) is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt).
7. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
- Enquiry data: retained for a reasonable period to manage and respond to queries.
- Analytics data: retained according to PostHog's retention settings (default 7 years for events; we do not enable session recording).
- Resource and marketing contacts: kept while you remain engaged and for a reasonable period afterwards, and removed on request or when you unsubscribe and ask us to delete your data.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
- access to your personal data
- correction of inaccurate data
- deletion ("right to be forgotten")
- restriction or objection to processing
- data portability
- withdrawal of consent (where processing is based on consent)
To exercise your rights, contact info@jumplead.io.
9. Complaints
If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
If you are in the EU/EEA, you can complain to your local supervisory authority.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the updated version on this page and changing the "Last updated" date.
