Prompt · Find buyers
The signals promptFind UK founders with a small sales team, from inside Claude.
By Joe Stone
I used to fix half-baked lists before anyone could use them. Now I ask Claude, with Prospeo connected. It finds the people, tells me what the search will cost and waits for my yes before anything runs.
- Runs in
- Claude
- Prospeo
What you need
- A Prospeo account. Their free plan gives 100 credits a month and includes the MCP connection; the hiring signal needs their Starter plan and the traffic signal their Pro plan (October 2026). Through Claude, a search costs 1 credit for each page of 25 people; revealing an email costs 1 more and a mobile 10. Plans are on Prospeo’s pricing page (opens in a new tab).
- Prospeo connected to Claude. I connected ours on 9 October 2026; the steps for each Claude app are in Prospeo’s MCP guide (opens in a new tab).
- A clear idea of who you sell to. The bits in [square brackets] are set for UK B2B founders; change them to fit your buyer.
Don’t pull data without me approving first. Claude shows me the credit cost and waits for my yes.
Disclosure: I’m a Prospeo partner and get my licence free.
Signal 1: small sales team
The prompt
Change the parts in [square brackets] to fit who you sell to, then copy it.
Use Prospeo to find [founders, CEOs and managing directors] based in the UK, at UK B2B companies with [11 to 50] staff and [1 to 3] people in sales. Before you run anything, tell me how many credits the search will cost and wait for my yes. Then show me the total count and the first 25 people: their job title, company, headcount, and whether their email and mobile are verified. Don’t reveal any emails or mobiles yet. Leave out finance, technical and operations roles, and assistants. I only want the person who decides how the company sells.
One line each, after the prompt
Signals 2 to 4
The prompt finds the right size of company. A signal tells you which of them to call first. Add one line at a time, so you can see what each one does to the count. Or run any of them on its own across 11 to 200 staff, as I do for our own outbound.
Gone quiet
Fewer people are finding them, so new business is likely to slow.
Only keep companies whose UK website traffic is down 20% or more over the last year.
In Prospeo: website traffic, yearly change of −20% or lower (their Pro plan).
Sales team growing
New reps, empty calendars, salaries already running.
Only keep companies whose sales headcount is up 20% or more in the last 6 months.
In Prospeo: headcount growth in Sales, 6 months, +20% or more.
Hiring for sales
Until that seat’s filled, the founder is still the one selling.
Only keep companies hiring for sales roles right now, and leave out recruitment firms.
In Prospeo: job postings for sales roles (their Starter plan and up), recruitment excluded, because most of their ads are for their clients.
25 October 2026
What came back when I ran this search
15,018people came back when I ran this search on 25 October, before I tightened the job titles.
- All 25 people on page one had a verified email, and 24 of the 25 a verified mobile.
- Page one also handed me three CTOs and two COOs, which is why the prompt now leaves those roles out.
Before anyone gets a call or an email
- Check your CRM first, so nobody gets contacted twice.
- Run every email through a separate verifier before it’s sent.
- Screen every mobile against TPS and CTPS before you dial.
We run searches like this for our own outbound. If you’d rather we ran yours, from the list to the first conversation, let’s talk.
