The quote video briefA short video from your real quotes, made in code by Claude.
By Joe Stone
The video on my post about our sales calls was a web page first. Claude built it, photographed every frame and joined them into an MP4. It took eight versions in one evening to get right. This brief has everything we learnt folded in, so yours starts where ours finished.

What you need
- Claude Code on your computer, the desktop app or the terminal. Setup is in chapter one of How we use Claude (opens in a new tab).
- ffmpeg, the free tool that joins the frames into a video. Claude can install it for you with your OK, or get it from ffmpeg.org (opens in a new tab).
- Your quotes, word for word, and your brand colours and font.
Real words only, and judge the video by its frames, never by its code.

The prompt
Change the parts in [square brackets] to fit who you sell to, then copy it.
Make me a [30]-second motion graphic, [1080 x 1350] (LinkedIn portrait), no sound, from these quotes, word for word: [paste your quotes]. Build it as one HTML page where everything on screen is worked out from a single time value, so the same time always gives the same frame. Then use a headless browser to screenshot it 30 times a second and join the frames into an MP4 with ffmpeg. Look and motion: - My brand: [background colour], [text colour], one accent colour [hex], font [name]. - Words rise into place from behind a mask with a small spring as they land. No plain fades. - Each quote types in big, on its own, with its key phrase underlined in the accent colour by a line that draws itself. Then it shrinks into a list that builds up. - A beginning (one line on where the quotes came from), a middle (the quotes) and an end (the point, then my logo). - Keep long quotes on screen long enough to read: about four to five words a second. - Open on the finished frame for half a second, because LinkedIn often shows the first frame before it plays. Before the final render, grab stills every 2 seconds, look at them, and fix anything cramped, too small or too fast. Show me the stills first.

What came back when I ran this search
36 secondsand eight versions in one evening, each note applied in minutes.
- It opens on the finished list, types out seven founder quotes and ends on our homepage line.
- The pacing check found no gap over a second where nothing moved, and the longest quote reads at about four and a half words a second.
Before you post it
- Every word on screen is real, and checked against its source.
- Watch it on a phone at full speed. If you can't read a line, slow it down.
- Credit anyone whose style or skill you borrowed.
We make these for our own posts. If you'd rather we ran your outreach, with the content behind it, let's talk.
